We trolled the whole time from the Hobies (drop the lure in the water w/ the bail open, let out approximately 20' of line as you peddled away). The folks on the Prowlers had to cast behind them slightly, put the rod in the rod holder, then start paddling.

Casting wouldn't be a problem from the Outbacks...very stable. I'm actually too light (roughly 135-140lbs) for one...my Outback listed to one side because I couldn't get the entire hull in the water most of the time. I even leaned over to turn better w/ Rick yelling at me to stop being crazy leaning like that
