It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Here's a look at my traveling buddy over the last 11 years. Sasha's been on more ferries than most dogs and her favorite place to visit -- where else, the Cuttyhunk Club. Here are a couple of shots from five years ago.

Here is Boom. He's all of 5 months old and growing fast. By the looks of his paws, I think he's going to be a big boy. Bird training starts soon. He's a real fast learner, so I'm hoping that he will be a good bird dog.

He took his first boat ride today too... little shaky at first, but he warmed up to it.

Sort of a couple of weeks ago. Took him on the skiff and 5 minutes in while I was getting the gear ready I hear SPLASH at the dock. He tried to walk onto a paddle boat and slipped. He still young and lacks the common sense. We did get on the skiff and then the motor crapped out and he wasn't liking me pulling the cord to much. Long story short his first fishing trip wasn't a good one. I'm thinking of bringing him out on my buddy's 21' mako this weekend. One way or the other he'll learn to like the boat. he loves the beach and I should probably take him there at night sometime this fall.

Nice Mastiffs. Gentle Dogs, but destroy furniture, it's like Sumo Wrestlers at IKEA!!

They are like domesticated cows. Eat, sleep, go out for a while, sleep some more and then call it a night and sleep some more.

Surprisingly they are good watch dogs.
