Can't disagree---by far the favorite rod that I own. Got over 100 outings on it, probably 300+ fish, into the mid-30s, lost count of the 20+, and it's everything I would ever want in a Canal rod. Plugs, jigs, equally good at both, and more than enough power to turn a fish--and a hell of a lot more fun to fish with than a 1209

Tac clips are another A+.

Unfortunately, that's it for the new-this-year gear.
