Thursday Scramble!
Meeting at my house at 6:00am and we will convoy to Monument Beach. Right now its BigBo, Tagger and myself. Room for more! Tagger does that sound ok??

Thu...SE winds 5 to 10 kt...increasing to 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt in the afternoon. Seas 1 to 2 ft.

I am going to watch the 6 weather and check some online sources. The wind has just been wreaking havoc on my yakking! Today would have been perfect!!!  |

BigBo and I did get out after we took a few tosses at breaking fish in a big river closeby! They were finicky.....I managed a rat blue and a dink bass before we headed to the launch site! It was a beautiful morning and the water was perfect but alas......the fish must have missed our invitation to come play???? We had a good trip though!! |

I wish I could have made it, but I had to work. I managed to fish the ditch for a while caught a whole lot of nada. I'll definitely try to make the next scramble. I owe you some money for a plug.

Larry found his mojo the other day, but he rubbed the stink off on me.
It was a nice day to be on the water though. Just gotta remember to stay clear of canal currents at mid tide flows. My legs were like jello afterwards. Had a good time Larry. |
