I'll never forget it,though I would never have guessed that tonight was the night.
After the Sox won the series I was taking phone calls from friends on the west coast till about 4:00 am.
One of my west coast friends was amazed when I told him, that allthough I was as happy as a Sox fan could be on that storied night...I felt MORE happiness and satisfaction when we came back to beat the Yankees that year to win the ALCS.
I still feel the same to this day....
Thanks for posting tonight,John....

Awww shucks. No need for that. Obviously its a cry for help from the (supposedly) superior Yankee Fan Base. Remember, they were supposed to win it all this year and are still suffering and grumpy.

Besides, best reminder ever is a little photo history:

Great stuff!!

I think the Yanks (allthough a great team) finally showed thier age this year. They totally ran out of gas in September. They have work to do in the off season and the Sox have a 2 year jump on them.
I am TOTALLY waiting for next year...........
