The typical giant bite has yet to develop in the Bay, out east or on the bar. 3 fish a day for the whole fleet is hardly worth the effort

my good friend got two himself yesterday 79" and 84", third one he had to put back at 68"

Sorry to hear about the drop... Many boats out? I worked both days, so didn't even get out for cod. No tuna landed for me this year... Miss having some toro for the smoker..... Good to see you put some hours on the boat this year, as well as some fish on the boat!

Was very rough!
that pic shows it about right with the angle f the horizon verses the angle of the transom.
Sure doesn't make fighting them any easyier when the boat is at the mercy of the wind and seas.

Hurts to lose one after a 2 hr fight but boating one in the slot somewhat takes the sting out of it, nice fish.
