Yikes, we knew it was inevitable. The twins are just getting over a nasty virus and I've been out of touch big time for 3 days. They had coxsackie which results in a high fever and sores in the throat and mouth. If any of your kids ever had it, you know how nasty it is. Hard to eat... almost impossible to sleep... and that was just me and Karen. 5 year old had it as well. Things are just getting back to normal and we're so glad they are feeling better. Everyone slept well last night and we had a good day today.

Imagine strep throat, but 5x worse. Did I mention I'm glad they are all better.

Specialist, yes, the twins went... the main reason for the trip was a reunion in Tampa for families that had surgery with the group that helped us. 60 families were there with over a hundred kids, mostly twins. It was cool. We stayed with Karen's brother and unfortunately his daughter became really sick while we were in Tampa, after she'd already been in close contact with the girls on Friday and Saturday. We found out that coxsackie was goin' around her daycare. Nice... that little rat got my whole darn family sick.

GS, I'd like to get a few guys together for a trip down there sometime over the next couple, three years... I wish tarpon were available in like March when its so crappy up here and we need a break. But yeah, I understand that May and June are the best in most areas in FL on both coasts. Thats some of the best fishing up here too. I think April has some potential down in the Keys... My uncle goes down there every April though I really can only varify that he caught one tarpon ever. Its always hard to tell with him. He mentions fish "seen" alot. But I guess we could drag ourselves away for a shot at the big ones. What time of year where you down there Slip?

I almost can't imagine a 100lber...

Anyway, thanks guys... I would have liked to land one of the bigger ones, but I'm pretty happy to get a tarpon. They are pretty cool fishies.
