i lift free weights to prepare for double fish on...
also you can just .... walk backwards..learned that from a chinese woman who never reeled. Why ? Dunno? she'd hook a fish and was often seen walking up the road from my house backwards dragging in fish ...was the strangest thing to see.... lol
that woman caught more fish than anyone that way...
