Well, we had enough Nerf weapons under the tree this morning to surely thwart all but the most determined assaults of 2' tall stuffed plush aliens. Santa must have known some alien invasion is over the horizon and had prepared out household as a pillar of our community defense.
The battery powered, tri-pod mounted, belt fed, rapid-fire automatic, foam caliber machine gun is a big hit.

There have been a ton of feel good stories on the telly the last few weeks. One of the best I saw was about this african american kid, who one day was in the nurses office at his school and overheard how a father who had developed a heart problem, and could no longer carry his son upstairs at night, who has had MS since birth and weighed what looked like about 80 #'s. The kid showed up at the families door that night and every night since then at 8 p.m. to carry the boy upstairs who has MS. The volunteer and the family needless to say have developed a close bond. It was a very heartwarming story.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Santa brought this same weapon to our household to thwart off any attacks on S-B headquarters from the northern perimeter. I think we could have some fun with these at the TFCTGFN.
