I remember that year. I was working a consulting gig in Chicago. Got stuck there for about 10 days. Every time O'Hare would open, the East Coast would close. O'Hare closes and the East Coast opened up.
I finally said the hell with it and rented a car and drove home. If I hadn't been working I wouldn't have hung on that long but I was getting paid plus stayng at The Drake and had a $100/day per diem for food and drink so life was good. |

THAT is a freikin snow storm.
The storm was over-rated. They suck but we have all (mostly) seen far worse.
We had 8 or so in Warwick. A bit more in some other locations I've gone too for clients.
