I have only seen Steel Pulse twice as far as Reggae concerts go but have always been a fan from afar for a long time. You can't go to Jamaica and comeback not liking this music and I have been a few times.

I saw a lot of shows back when.The Channel,Living Room,lots of great small venues.Saw Pablo Moses at Roger Williams Park.I have seen Pulse at least a half dozen times including last year in pvd.Black Uhuru was always at the top of the list with Sly Drumbar and Robby Bassspeare prov&feature=player_detailpageiding rythm.

Mr. Marley is pretty much the standard and often over played IMO.Not saying anything negative about him. I like him a lot. I think he has his own thread somewhere here. There are lots of really good players out there that are pretty darn good and I think these posts are just showing some of them. I like to gravitate towards the more under the radar guys in most of the music i like but still always like the big guns too.
