My favorite white ale also. I always try to stop by the brew pub where it originated every time I fish Montauk or Shinnecock Inlet. Great way to cap off a day of fishing .
Oh, BTW, the Double White has a little kick to it. I believe it's about 8% ABV (they use to be stronger). 3 or 4 of them can put you down quick, as you don't really taste the alcohol.

Never been big on wheat beers. Funny part is while I don't like say 7 lb pale to 3.5 lb wheat , I almost always add one pound of wheat when mashing say 18 to 20 lb pale malt.
For whites , I love the smell of crushed coriander seeds. Not so easy to find. Whole Foods carries them , you do the brushing yourself.
Bitter and sweet orange peels are a pain in the butt. They grow mold on the skins when stored and few places have them so when you mail order you sometimes get old ones , etc.
The beer has a clean taste but I doubt I have ever had more than two at any given time. Blue Moon was very popular at one time.

If you're out on LI, let me know and we'll meet up for some fishing and brews at the Publick House.
