S-B dot COM 2010 Angler of the Year NOMINATION thread
OK - its that time to NOMINATE (not vote) for the 2010 Striped-Bass.com Angler of the Year.
Remember, NOMINATION, not voting part? Top nominees will be entered in a poll to determine who the S-B.com COMMUNITY feels the Angler of the Year.
Simple Rules:
* Angler needs to be a member with (at least) regular particularization in 2010.
* Name only
* Member needs TWO nominations (nomination and seconded)
I'll take these names for nomination for the next week and put up an anonymous poll after for voting. Member needs TWO nominations (a/k/a nomination and seconded). Winner to be announced at TFCTFN

I’d like to nominate Numbskull.
He’s very personable and approachable, always lends constructive input to striped-bass.com discussions, offers helpful advice to anyone whether it be about fishing techniques, plug making, gear improvements. As a responsible angler he’s always involved in fisheries management issues. George and other members like him are one of the main reasons I visit this site.
Can someone please second this nomination.

I'll nominate Bob Samuelson, bs4shore. Besides the obvious reason, Bobby was a hell of a fisherman and was having a great season.

Even though Bob didn't spend a whole lot of time on this board it would be nice to recognize as a site the friend he was to many of us and to fishing in general.

I would have said Numbskull too, but he cost me too much money
As for another guy, I can't say we know each other well, but I know a few things about this guy:
Great angler, person, and hero by all accounts=New Jack gets my nomination.
I feel like the award should embody and recognize the entire person, not just the numbers and sizes of fish caught.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind
