my opinion, for what it is worth and you are going to see yourself doing this for years to come. I would buy an oiled compressor with a tank over 10 gallons, I have a Sears. Pump up the pressure and shut it off. No cycling and constant running. I hate the racket, ruins my music. I like Iwata for brushes, no knowledge of Badger but know many that have them and like them. I like at least 2 brushes. fine needled one for accents and a larger needled one for bigger coverage. Peak also makes a nice brush and cheaper than Iwata, I got one, but i like Iwata. These are going to cost you more than your set ups above but I have never been a big fan of the whole kit and kaboodle for one price. I'd rather piece it together myself. The above will probably serve you well for a fad type plug making experience but I like to buy the best I can so i don't have to do it again down the line. Good luck and remember no usually cares about my opinion, not even me sometimes.

The Paasche pictured is similar to one that I have. I use it to shoot a lot of paint at one time for example laying down base white coats. Iwata guns are the best but if you want to stay on a little tighter budget check out the DeVilbiss dagr it is highly functional shoots a decent fine line and won't break the bank.
