Thank God I don't have gas pipes in my house - I'd be sticking my head in the oven. The older I get, the more dragged down I am by winter.

I know spring is just around the bend, but it seems like the closer we come, the slower the days go by. I think I've got that lack-of-sunlight disease. Two weeks from now, I know I'll feel better, but it's taking forever to get there. Last year, I planted seeds in the garden March 14. I still have inches of snow out there now.

I gotta move to Florida.

that would be technically a lack of vitamin D deficiancy

so what ya do MarkB is to buy some large capped shetaki (mispelled on purpose) mushrooms and semi dry them upside down in full sunlight so that the gills are exposed to sun light...for 2-2+1/2 days

After you do this "eat them" and you'll feel better because they absorb Vitamin D just like your skin does on a summer day.

the Vitamin D in them skyrockets from 1000 units to 100 000 units.
Doctors treating you for Vit. D deficiency prescribe 50,000 units.
