Great central location for fishing East beach to Napatree. Weekapaug B+T is right where Atlantic Ave (road that Misquamicut State Beach is on) crosses the Weekapaug Breachway.
There are lots of stores just up the road on RT 1.If you are spending the whole weekend and want to go somewhere nice, Mary's Italian Restaurant is my favorite Italian restaurant anywhere. Not cheap but super good and you never leave there hungry. Be careful , their italian sausages are very spicy hot.
Anyway , as you can tell , I'm pretty psyched about fishing taht area. I fish the canal mostly now but that's cause of where I work now but for decades , this area was my home for striper fishing. I can't wait. Oh yeah!!
