Lower CT River

The flat are on the east side is pretty much all sand and can easily be criss crossed at high tide. It's too shallow at low tide. There is a MapTech Lower CT River chart that's in all the area tackle shops. It covers from Hartford to LIS.

^^^what he said.... mostly sand in the lower River, and should be easily navigated at high tide. there ARE a few PILES of rocks down there that can cause you problems..... I think they're old bridge pilings or something. use a trolling motor if ya got one....
