because there are far more freshwater collectors out there prices for freshwater lures on the average are much higher. Though rare, mint saltwater stuff will bring in hi prices.
Good catch on the high shipping and handling. If you do bid on lures check to see what the say on S&H before you bid. The honest people will put the shipping total in or say how they plan to ship. Any others ask in an e-mail how they are planning to ship and what the price of shipping will be.
In truth I have only been overcharge or had some one ship cheaper than the price about four times. Most people out there are pretty honest.
