$4-5 Gas - How will this affect how you fish?

Yah, I got a sweet deal on a 32 Slampage (Rampage) with dual 440 Chryslers. It will probably burn about 60-70 Gph stuffed in the corner. I figure its not that bad concidering I fish less than 30 miles out. A chance to move up in boats without taking out a loan. And when the time comes ill throw a set of diesels in it.

makes 21gph on the blackfin look like a dream. Makes Mr. Sandy's boat look even nicer....

from the surf: won't change much. I'm too lazy to drive to westerly or the canal anyway.

on the edge... looks like we need to work smarter for tuna and mahi....

My gas bills go up about 50% once I start fishing, this year it will just be a little more $$$. Maybe it will make it so the eels/tackle $$$ doesn't jump out so much on the visa bill.
