Don't mean to be a trouble maker but..... I went to New Jersey to see the family over Easter, we stopes at rivers end in CT. I made a point to look at that book. I was not impressed, the author covers too wide an area the book is too general. I did not buy the book. And I am a sucker for fishing books, I have have a ton of surf fishing books, name one I am sure I have it. In my humble opine the best straight technique books are STRIPER SURF Zenos two books. If your looking for a good read find win Brooks THE SHINING TIDES (it's been a long time I might not have the title exact title). John Skinners book A SEASON ON THE EDGE and Dagnaults EASTERN TIDES are great ways to pass a quiet night when you can't fish. Just my opinion take it or leave it.
