and the Mouth of the Merrimack has been uglier than usual... the dredging made it worse... the North side now has a huge bar/flat 50 yards out where deep water once was.. it's 4' deep at low tide now.... the south side still has the infamous jergals bar, but the dredging created a funnel that now always has a standing chop... add an easterly and it gets down right nasty...... last week any boat under 30' was turned back by the coast gaurd...... the forecast was enough for me to put the small boat back on the trailer and do the water and fuel pumps ahead of schedule as well as put a set of brushes in the starter and replace the shift and throttle cables.. all things i was going to do next season...

A good run is better than a bad stand!

i've been wondering how the dredgingwas gonna effect the fishing....last year i fished the mouth more than usual...seemed slightly better than it normally was, looks like it might be a new learning curve again....or just back into the river!

Doing a flatty charter tomorrow, and fishing myself on Sat or Sun.

Weather looks resaonable, but I'm not going offshore..

Good fishing if you get out this weekend. !!!!!!!

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.
