Talking turkey....
I've had a 30# tom hanging out on my deck for about four hours... Stays no more than three feet from my sliding door. Never knew how much their flesh changes colors....

What's up with turkey the past year? I've never seen so many in my life...flocks of 6-8 alongside the highway very frequently.
Their skin is really creepy, we have a neighbor who kept one as a pet until it died a few years ago.

Is there a TV in that room? Perhaps he's just trying to get an eye on the Bruins game tonight

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

That's already been swept off. Deck will get powerwashed and stained soon after next week's rain.

Matt, check the state hunting laws for spring turkey season and
your local trapping laws.
Wouldn't want to see you spend the striper season in the housgow.

with a bow shot just before dark
or otherwise sight unseen perhaps
depends if he's eating (destroying) your garden
I'll never forget looking fondly at my row of onions one day
all mulched so perfectly and growing like crazy fast
next morning a turkey ripped them all out to eat all my worms
i have a stack of old skill saw blades i was gonna throw
