Under rated band big time! I hear them occasionally but not nearly as much as we should......and they have so many more great songs than the 3 or 4 the radio stations choose to play!

Saw them a couple of times...hands down one of the best live bands to see.....no light shows.....just kick-ass old school rock

One of the very first concerts I ever went to was at the Providence civic center.Quite a few tracks were recorded for One for the Road.

Do you remember the date? I saw them there back in the early 80's. Left Mass as it started to snow, got to Providence in a downpour and by the time we made it back to Mass after the concert there was 2 feet of snow (as I remember it)
Regardless- The Kinks are my all-time favorite band- I have seen them at least 18 times including shows at the Boston Garden, The wang Center, North Shore Music Theatre and everywhere they played. Even went to see Ray Davies storyteller show in Newburyport at a local high school several years back and got to shake the mans hand. One of the best musicians and the funniest songwriters ever.

In 1980 I saw them in Lenox , where the poster came from ( I can't seem to attach it.) and Umass Amherst Fine Arts Center only 3-4k seats. They played the first set acoustic and the second electric....my best concert by far.....
