not trying to start a chevy/dodge/ford/import truck war.. was just wondering too.. he's been a chevy dealer lead tech for a while.. his take is he is seeing a lot of cheapened stuff since the money crunch hit gm coporate, lot of engine/warranty issues, and he feels that while they took the bailout, and are paying the interest, the comebacks on the warranty is what will eventually croak them, due to the cheaper parts used.. I don't know nothing..just was looking for his opnion when I was shopping.. my take is they are all junk now.

I look longingly at the rustfree truck . com site and think ..mid 70's rust free truck, dump some dough into it ..and have a REAL truck again...but I am a dinosaur at heart.

but..when I looked at that 06, I was open minded..but wanted to talk to this guy, seeing as he is a long time chevy tech..and like I said was shocked at his opinion..especially for all the years of his giving me crap at not still driving one...since i sold my 79 K10...all them years ago.
