I love live-lining macs- from shore, Jig them up in the harbor and then drive across town and plop them in the canal. They are just alive enough to be easily slurped up by some big bass- just not too many 50 pounders swimming through there (although it does happen).

Someone gets a 50 every year from the groaner area but it is obviously not "easy". I will buy a boat when I can no longer hop the rocks. I'd would take you up on the invite but that four-letter word (WORK) is owning me these days. Keep me in mind around the N. Shore get together later this summer/fall!
