Shoals use to be a great area to get nice Fluke!! But the draggers have been pounding the area hard for the last few years and it is junk now!
I agree with Sandman that the size for Comm and Rec should be the same.
And everything that comes up in the draggers nets should have to be kept and count against the quota! To much fish kill dumped cause of culling!!

yes i do realize it but for real everything in the net is dead!! so why not keep all and count it against the quota??
as a rod and real guy i take hook out of the lip and cut anything that is gut hook i am not saying i never kill anything but i kill numbers are near 0 compared to draggers!

ri fluke regs are totally 'effed up! recs- 18.5" with a daily bag of 7 fish and commercials- 14" and 100lbs per day (at a 3# per fish that would be 30 fish)......really now.
