Goes 5 for 5 with a home run for number 3000 and game winning hit.
I don't care if he's a Yankee or not, you can't help but enjoy watching him play.

#^&#^&#^&#^& Him......He's a Yankee so I will never like him. I would have preferred it was a bunt single, that he got thrown out on, trying to squeeze it into a double that cost them the game....but I can't have everything. 
Mantle was a Drunk, DiMaggio was Over-rated and Gherig was a Lazy POS!

For the record, I think Jeter has shown nothing but class over his entire career. Credit Buck Showalder (sp) who was Yankee manager his rookie camp. Buck told the equipment manager to give Jeter a single digit number as he thought the shortstop was going to be a great one..... |
