Thanks All - much appreciated.

I'm going with the Bean Emergers / Cabella's ultra light boots.

There was a couple of suggestion on the fit of the boots. I wear a 12-1/2 to 13 street shoe, depending on width - I need a wide shoe.

I don't have a cabellas outlet near me so I was hopping to be able to narrow down the best size based on above and your experiences.

I had to go a size bigger. It seems to work well, especially when you need big heavy socks. I used to have boots my actual size and they were okay but uncomfortable with heavy socks.

I have simms freestones, fit is perfect and they are tough as nails. I need some new boots now. thinking cabelas or beans for those.
