I've been using these ... Get them at M&D's $.99 .... very light .. Where them on a string around my kneck .. snips braid pissa ,, I don't use them on mono .

Before I picked up my old school 8" black VS pliers which cut braid like butter, I always carried a few Fiskas kids scissors.
