3-4 colors is not enough for 35' deep. Try 20' deep water instead or let out more line to get down where the fish are. Try to get down to 2 knots.

At 2mph I plan on getting lead down 4ft per color, but it also depends on the currents. Let line out until you start bumping a little and then reel up until you're just off the bottom.

The Boston area has been real slow since the macks left for vacation. Most fish we have been catching are inside or in shallow water. The deep ledges (like thieves are not that hot right now).

I don't often use tube'n'worm, but when I do its on less than 15' to about 8' of water and 3-4 colors usually does it.

You are putting a seaworm on the hook RIGHT ????

Your on the right track we should be seeing lots more fish in our area soon. (hopefully)

Do as suggested above; more line out, slow down, especially the Seaworm

Your definatly going too fast for tubes. Slow down to just under 2, use a big fat seaworm on them and experiment with letting out more colors. Watch your rod tips if you get a bump let the fish come back don't pull it away, putting the boat in neutral for a few seconds helps too. Don't troll in straight lines make some curves, many days the bass want something differant you just have to find out what.

I was out Sunday and picked up a dozen fish, most keeper size or just under, most ironically were caught in 5 foot of water. Several came on my 5-1/2 inch split tails, but the better ones came on the 8 inch grub slowly retrieved and bumped across bottom and rocks with a 3/4 oz head, plus a couple outstanding blowups on a smack-it popper.
