Suffix is my choice on conventional bass reels. Always had PP on surf gear, VS200. I have had a bad batch of PP before... Replaced off a different spool and no problems. I will not use PP in anything less than 50# though... Tried 30# and had windknots galore.

fished last night with re-spooled 50lb pp and was back to normal...decent amount of wind and surf and no problems...but thinking of switching if there is another issue...thanks y'all...
