John Jr. Do a PayPal so I can donate my $15.00.

I am DONE with participating in tournaments. Glad to donate to a worthy cause but no more Tourneys for this old surfcaster.

No boat, back in the suds.

awesome tourney, best schwag in Rhode Island for a GREAT cause.

HABS' memory and his legacy could not be honored better,
sometimes,,,,,,,if ya look reel close,,,,,,,,,you can sea John smiling upon us ALL from above, through the surf, and in the arc of the cast as our collective pursuits and assorted offerings recall his LOVE and dedication to his craft and that ever elusive hunt for the striper of a lifetime.

sea ya'll, out there, in the surf~~ peaceful rest, John, in the hands of God.

"The first condition of happiness is that the connection
between man and nature shall not be broken."~~ Leo Tolstoy

Tight Lines, and
Happy Hunting to ALL!

John Jr. did an amazing job designing the posters. If anyone want a poster for the man cave let me know, I will bring a bunch to Flows and the Brewery.

Weigh in sites?

Hi folks,

Where are the weigh in sites? And is it possible to pull Twin Maples into the weigh in fold?

Hey, Johnny!!!

Tried to make it to Flo's tonight to see you and Mom and the gang but ended up working late and gotta work through the holiday weekend to boot...... got my ticket anyway, tho

I knew God was gonna punish me for taking a full-time job - dammit, it totally wrecked my fishing schedule this year

Anyway, just wanted to let you know I've got some prints coming your way for the big raffle on Sunday - it all goes to a good cause and I know your Dad is proud!

Give Mom a BIG hug for me and good luck to all!

And hoist a blooooberry or three to the King for me, too...

(Hey, Paulie - you got a PM coming your way - thanks)

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

Salt Water Edge weigh station - top three entries as of 9am Sunday:

35 lbs 6 oz - Dave Anderson
32 lbs 1 oz - Mike Veracka
31 lbs 14 oz - Bob Melody

At this time not sure of results from other weigh stations.

Thanks for everyone's support to benefit the children at Hasbro.

See everyone at the Coddington Brewery at 3pm.

Kudos to all participants who supported a great cause.

I'm sure Johnny "Habs" Senior's head is still spinning in disbelief that this is all in his honor.

You done good, Sr & Jr.

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots
