I enjoyed seeing him at the shows.
In the winter,from time to time, I would call him
around 3PM and he would always welcome the call as
he was looking for a break and loved to talk dogs and fishing.
He is missed.

One of the first times I met Habs I drove down to Goose Hummock as he was there selling his plugs one Saturday and I was looking to get a bunch of his coveted needlefish (which I did).

John was so welcoming and friendly......he also gave me one of his Habs baseball caps which I still have and cherish!
