30 years ago I was with my Dad and we were fishing at the Mouth of the Connecticut. It was pee soup fog. A powerboat shows up out of the fog and the guy is cheering that he actually "found" someone. He asks "do you guys know where Watch Hill is ?". He has got a placemat chart in his hands. My Dad points East and says "That way. but you gotta watch out because of Fishers Island, etc." and before he can finish, the joker slams it into gear and heads off.
It is a memory I wil NEVER forget.
What a world we live in. Now tell me that it is against personal freedoms to impose a Boating License on people..........
