Let's not forget that the "regular" cable channels that show halloween movies tend to show the same ones numerous times during their broadcast timeframe.

We found a new channel called THIS which is channel 297 on our comcast system.
This past weekend they showed "The Creature From The Black Lagoon", with limited commercials. Do you know how long it's been since I've seen one of the classics on cable?
Try YEARS!

THIS has been showing some real gems like Frankenstein, the Bride of Frankenstein, Island of Lost Souls, The Island of Dr. Moreau, and of course The Creature from the Black Lagoon.

I mean how many times can I see Halloween (and ALL the sequels and remakes) Aliens (not Alien, but all three sequels, or any of the Friday the 13th films (after the first ORIGINAL one) before I give up?

If thier goal is to push people AWAY from cable, they are well on their way!!!
