if you can, try working on depth of field.. you should try to emphasize on shading to bring out depth.. the bluefish looks very 2 dimensional. That being said, they look great

if you have an art museum in your area they probably offer lessons for various media and skill levels....or check for a local artists association/guild or any gallery that has several artists represented, they probably meet a couple of times a week at different locations to paint and usually welcome aspiring people that want to work on their gift...those look great, hope to see more!

my Mother went her whole life
to art class....
then she began teaching them....
she had done so many paintings my brother
is creating a book
of them....
like the feel of the barn frank.....
looks very Farm like...

Those are really great, especially just starting with watercolor. Watercolor is one of the most difficult mediums to work with and you've done very well. I did a google search on "watercolor techniques" and there are a ton of great tutorials. Could be a good place to start to get an idea of what you are doing "right" or "wrong" with your technique, tools, etc.
