the ones you guys found/bought float too ??? How come this one says this >>>>>Is the ONLY floating handheld on the market supplied with drop in cradle and both 110VAC and 12VDC chargers.

gotcha Kev ,,, and yours is just a wire to recharge .. better than a 12 vdc cradle me thinks .

I'm thinking a radio might be a must have item if I'm going to be going out nights ,, May be safer to keep in contact with each other ..ecduzitgood !!!! that bluetooth feature .. Does that exist on a water proof radio ? sounds good to be able to call home .

I might be wrong, but I thought that bluetooth feature was just something available on fixed mount VHF units for larger boats. I know Cobra has the command type microphone which has the bluetooth, but that's not for a handheld unit.

Mine has a 110 volt cradle and as a back up it has a Battery pack that can use AAA batteries in case the power dies on it....never had the power die on it though, but it is a good backup feature.

I'm thinking the same thing....a must have if you are going out at night
