Initial reaction was disbelief, but then I realized, what a brilliant business move. He's been selling on the other site for a while, and probably doing OK... But contacting Orvis (or any other high-end outdoor dealer) with a high-priced plug set is something that I haven't seen done before. Figure he's making a good chunk of change on it. Good for him.
Who cares if they work or not, I'm not buying it, but some people will. Imagine if BM did this? With one-offs? The sets would probably
sell for twice that.
