EASY PEASY then Bob. Go down to homies and buy some cedar posts. Block them up with 2x4 and buy some fence sections, knock the pickets off and renail onto the hill. Take you less than a day to rip that out and redo, even rehanging the gate.
Let it weather for a bit then stain it.
It will outlive you.
