Another Canal 40 lber

I got one this am. 47" long, 27" girth. Weighed in at One Shot. I caught it at around 1 am and weighed it at 6. It was 39.7 but the guy there said they can lose up to a pound in that time so who knows.... I'll post pics later today. After a week of 35-40 inch fish this one felt good on a full current. Had me 3/4 the way into my line. Back to MO on Wed so I still have a little more time.....

Congrats, don't you love it when a plan comes together, come to fish, catch fish and a large before leaving. What did you catch her on?

Very nice Dave sounds like a 40 to me. Must have felt good to have a fish test your tackle like that.

I didn't know you were even here you sneaky canalratt.

Dave be sure to put a slip in for the yearlong, that must be the lead fish now 47"

I got it on a skin jig. I'll post pics tomorrow but my dad took the pics and wrote a little description of the weight time and place I caught the fish on the footnote of each pic on the disc so I think I'll wait until he can give me one without the specifics to post for EVERYONES viewing pleasure
