They played a club date in NYC the other night. Just got an announcement that the are going to play MSG in a month or so and the opening act is Kool & the Gang. Interesting pairing.

whew, man I stared long and hard at the play icon and was afraid to hit it......
After listening I'm not sure if I like or hate it.
Dave sounds like Dave - 25 years ago (god, last album 1984 was 28 years ago!)
Eddie sounds like he used to, not that overprocessed stuff he was playing for awhile.
Song seems pretty lame, I couldnt make out most of the lyrics.
As a huge VH with Dave fan, I never saw them play together. I only saw VH with Sammy.
Do you thinks its nuts if I bring my kids - 7 and 9 to the show, too loud? crowd?

Not bad. Our band was talking about going to see them when they come around. It's weird not seeing Michael Anthony though.

just tried to get tix for Mohegan. used the facebook presale code and was online exactly at 10.
Best seats were way up in nosebleed way in the back. Oh well, this whole ticket thing is a racket these days. I dont know how people go see sports events or concerts. I guess I'll get the dvd when it comes out, fill my living room with cigarette and dope smoke and relive my teenage years

Alright, I got the album. Besides the sub par first single this album ROCKS! Some of the songs buried in the middle are as good as any Roth era VH. Curious to hear what other old fans think. I was skeptical. 4 stars.
