i am going back to big game mano, i found no gain with the floro. i am going to use up the seguar i have and that is it. for my jigging stick i am using a Cajun leader its red and that is the first color to disappear after 15 ft.

I've always used regular Seaguar, I say if it aint broke dont fix it.

I'm with skippy...I've seen no advantage in using floro.I'm using Ande Backcountry for making leaders.

I've used both a few years back (perhaps something new is out there) and didn't see any difference. I think the premium stuff was a bit stronger for any given diameter so you'd get 55lb test instead of 50lb test when it first came out, but for leader material and abrasion resistance it is more about diameter than anything else and since the lines were the same diameter the extra 5lbs of strength made little difference.

The kids back in action! Can't wait to hit the ditch w u bruh.

I used the reg seagur 40# as well.

But the vets will tell you any minute now; save some money and just get mono... doesnt make that much a difference i guess. And usually when you break off a leader its becuase there was already a knick in it from before, just be vigilant
