Weekend Plans?

Weekend Plans?

For the first time in forever, no officially scheduled events happening. I may sleep.

After plenty of other things anyway.

Need to get the reels ready for maintenance. Re hook some plugs? Ties some leaders? Hmmmm....

So what's up for the weekend?

tomorrow will be the final ice fishing trip of the season it would appear... with PISC fund riaser ( must attend event) next weekend.. plugfest the weekend after... there wont be any ice I care to step on by the second weekend in March...

Sunday turn and burn... I've got to get some serious pluggage done for plugfest...

A good run is better than a bad stand!

get out the Skikes and do some serious XC Skating.

Hang out for 3 days in my own house, 3 day week, then another 3 day weekend up in Maine hopefully on some snow.

I might try and get out to see a UMASS B-ball game. Other than that, dreaming about fish.

Relaxing!

Just picked up my new 7'ft road for bass this year. Got it made by CMS. Maybe go to the canal and throw a few plugs!

Phone all weekend. I already have two hours of work in tonight.

Tomorrow out to Midwest Grill in Cambridge for Jess' bday and then out for drinks.

Sunday, Jess' real birthday, so some sort of stuff with her and Jack.

Monday, try to get some rest after last weekend. Thanks to all who showed up, and getting ready for TFCTFN!

Turning and drilling enough bodies for plugfest. Got the vega going with Paul's holder and a carbide cutter. Don't have plexi patterns made up yet, and don't want to get bogged down making them up. So I am using some favorite plugs as masters, and hope to get them put back together at some point. Turning is my favorite part, followed by paint and epoxying. The other stuff, not so much. So the issue will be to stop turning and move to the next stage in order to have some actually done by Plugfest.

Also going to see my nephew's scrimmages at Gordon College. It is the only local games this year. He is starting goalie for Colby Lacrosse.

Zeno, tennis or golfers elbow? Just got a shot about 3 weeks ago for tennis elbow. Rest it the ten days like the doc says, and you'll be as good as knew. Needles don't usually bother me, but that shot in your forearm smarts! Heal soon, you'll need that arm for fish in a wee over a month now.

I am going in for my second one very soon. Can't not be able to fish the spook in spring. After a week it will feel much better. . I try like hell to ignore the pain but eventually it wins. Mine wore off after a year but I could not believe how good it felt a week or 2 later. Like new. Good luck

I'm cutting ,dragging, and burning brush, wish I was working on plugs but I got lots of work ahead of me this year. Going to be a long year.

Did that Thursday and Friday. Cut more brush yesterday and plan on another burn today. I forgot how tough that kind of work is. I can split all day with an 8 pound maul but I am dead after 5 or 6 hours of dragging brush.

No boat, back in the suds.

me too. sucks especially if you have to over use your arms at work too so it never gets a rest. I would be real surprised if you are not pain free in a week or 2. I was skeptical because of the amount of pain I was constantly in but it was amazing.

I may have to try that Bob.

Yeah Paul that dragging stuff is for youngsters which I am not anymore no matter how much I think I am.
