Is it possible they are dip netting Elver Eels? Just read an article about this in Maine where 1 pound of elvers may fetch $2200 for those few with licenses. They are in huge demand on the asian market.

Btw. My dog is partial to the Quincy Commons. Next time we stroll that way and your lights are on I'll give a knock. Though she's 12 yrs old and prefers to be taken for rides now.

They could be scooping up herring, I saw several schools today In the Monatiquot river in Braintree.
