Blitz in New Jersey
Got a call from a friend in NJ this weekend. He said they were pounding them off the beach....15 to 20 lb. plus.
I hope a few get through the gauntlet and make it to Maine by July!

Several of the NJ and Del sites are reporting a spectacular weekend with fish to 53#.
I'm thinking that they're 2 weeks away for RI and the Bay and 3 weeks + or minus for the Canal.

The NJ guys had fish into the 30's from the beach up to late January and fish into the teens from the surf right through February.

Yep... and when I called BS on my buddy it snowed one night and I told him pictures of bass in the snow required... at 2am my phone received numerous pictures of bass in the snow....
The fish never really left Jersey and the water temp never really went below 46 deg F.
