Electric reel with kite rod yes or no

Dennis we could add an outlet,but its still the same situation with the wire as the kite reel gets moved around the boat etc. Going to try it one more time with the electric and bring the torum as a backup. Just need a strong drag on the kite reel to yank it in,last year was able to send my sabiki rod for a swim when it caught the kite line too
