Real nice fish, George. She's bleeding but it doesn't look like she was hooked anywhere vital.

Just an external gill plate tear, she was fine.
Fishing is funny. This was likely only a mid 20# fish, but there was something special about her.....probably the unexpected nature of her showing up so early, after an unproductive winter, in a spot I've fished my entire life, while focused on little stuff, and on tackle that let her show her best....... that has me smiling and shaking and feeling like a kid again. Not much in life that does that. Go get 'em. |

1 tiny fish Sat (pic). 16.5"
1 tiny fish tonight (no pic but witnessed by Earlybird/ArtMako)
Thank god he didn't enter, none of us would have a chance against him and his flyrod.
Anybody else fishing this thing, or am I posting on the wrong site?

I'm fishing it, but have nothing to post yet. Not much time to fish between my sons baseball and lacrosse practices and games. I took him out for a bit this morning and neither of us got anything, but we had a lot of fun. Getting skunked with him is better than getting into fish by myself.
