I'll vouch for the Old Town Inn. Stayed there for several nights last November. The proprietors are super nice, the accommodations clean and spacious (first rate), and the breakfast was AWESOME.
Definitely a place where you could take your spouse!!!
My stay coincided with last November's Noreaster - I was the only guest there - and I was praying that I would be stranded so that I could fish a little more. Unfortunately, the weather let up enough so that the ferries ran on Sunday night.
