Go to lure for surface feeds/blitzes

I was wondering what people like to use for stripers when they see surface striper action. I used Deadly Dick last year in Boston Harbor and had some luck, but was wondering if anyone else thought anything else would work better.

Smack-it poppers are pretty deadly when they are blitzing.

I second the Smack Its which are also good for pitching in white water. I also like ripping metal lures through blitzes if they are single hook

I use Salties white needles. I usually try and troll them to the feed, then cast at em. 9 out of ten times I can't get to the action before my rod doubles over.

seals + plovers =
