If you want diesel on island...the highest quality, very fresh and best price usually by $.50-1.00/gal is Island Fuel. (he usually matches mainland prices) He delivers it to you in a truck at the dock in OB where the ferry pulls in. It is the only on island fuel I will buy. Avoid packer like the plague...you could end up with 17 gals of water, sand and some other white foamy #^&#^&#^&#^& in your tank. The last time I was on his dock fthe fellow in front of me sucked the last drops from his tank. I felt sorry for that guy as you know what he had in there. If you are forced to buy from him...make sure you have lots of spare filters onboard.

Not worth buying diesel on the Vineyard. Much cheaper buying in Falmouth. Mr. Noonan from JP Noonan fills me up off one of his trucks right at the dock. They provide a great service. I see a-lot of the Vineyard charter boats coming offer and filling off the truck at the mouth of the harbor too.

Sandman, you may want to look into it.
